Sub-5 nm hard x-ray point focusing by the combination of a Kirkpatrick-Baez mirror and a multilayer zone plate

چکیده

In hard x-ray microscopy, one approach for point transmission focusing is the use of multilayer zone plates (MZP) instead of conventional Fresnel zone plates, which are difficult to prepare with high aspect ratio. In extension of our previous work on line focusing down to 6.8 nm using the combination of Kirkpatrick-Baez (KB) mirror and multilayer Laue lense (MLL) [1], we have here used the approach of a compound optics of a high gain KB mirror and a nanofocusing MZP at the coherence beamline P10 of Petra III. The basic concept is sketched in Fig.1.
